I love my new plant! I was a little nervous from old reviews, but they were all so old I had a feeling they wouldn’t be right. My plant came packaged so nicely, nice and tight around the soil and loose around the leaves to keep them in good condition. Opening was easy and I didn’t have any dirt spills- you just obviously have to be careful. The plant stand is exactly as pictured and looks so modern and it’s good quality too. And of course my plant is in amazing condition and looks beautiful too. Highly recommend!
I am so impressed with my plant. I was very skeptical ordering a live plant from amazon, but no local greenhouses carried snake plants so after reading the reviews, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did. Better than expected. I needed a low maintenance plant for our bright master bathroom and I love it so far.I would definitely order again from this seller. It's healthy and full. So pleased!
I saw the mixed reviews and took a chance... bad idea. I ended up with a an unhealthy looking plant in an envelope (not in a pot). Not a great quality photo, but it gives you an idea. Plant has just a few leaves, some cut off at the top, and two turning yellow and brown at tips. Some cracks in the leaves, too. I sincerely doubt it will survive now that I have scrambled to find a pot for it to grow. The photo with this listing must be a stock photo nothing like the actual product.
I was pleasantly surprised by this Sansevieria Laurentii! It was much larger than I expected and didn't have a single damaged stalk even though it was shipped across the country. It's still healthy after a few months is flourishing in my bedroom with very little care. I included a stick of lip balm in the photo for a size comparison.
Pros: great packaging. Barely any soil spillage. Much of the plant looks healthy, and the size is nice.Cons: ROOT ROT. I normally let a plant acclimate a week or two before transplanting, but I decided to repot this one immediately so that I could remove the wet peaty soil and cut off the rotten parts. Lost 2 leaves right off the bat and there was a bunch of mushy stuff in the root ball. The soil they used is terrible; it retains water like crazy and this is not a plant you want sitting in wet soil. I replanted in fast draining succulent soil and I'm hoping that's enough to let this thing recover. Also, there were scale insects on a few leaves. If you see tiny white dots that you can scrape off, that's scale. There were a couple other little crawlers here and there in the soil. It was enough to prompt me to mix insecticide into the new soil, something I'd normally never do with a new plant, but I can't risk infestations with all my houseplants. So overall, this plant looks nice now and I'm hopeful I can bring it out of quarantine in a week or two, but I'm not sure that'll happen. I have been very happy with previous amazon plant purchases from smaller private sellers and will continue to buy from them, but I will not purchase from this seller again.
